8th Grade Student Wins National Essay Contest

Natalie Marie Stuart was recently awarded first place in the Catholic Textbook Project’s 2017 Essay Contest. Her essay, “Machiavelli and Atheistic Humanism,” was selected from among those submitted by students from 88 schools across the country. Miss Stuart’s work explored the impact of Machiavelli’s philosophy and examined its subsequent influence on man’s understanding of his meaning when it is stripped of God. We are proud of Miss Stuart for her success and her ability to use her Regina Coeli education to craft a persuasive essay that promotes a Christocentric worldview.

See the announcement and read Natalie’s essay on the Catholic Textbook Project’s website.  Please go to ‘Catholic School Division’ on that announcement.
