Headmaster, Mr. Christopher Keefe, 7th and 8th Grade Forensics

CKeefeMr. Keefe earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from Regina Apostolorum in Rome, Italy. He is currently working on a Masters in History at Villanova University. Prior to Regina Coeli Academy, Mr. Keefe was a the 7th and 8th grade teacher at Regina Angelorum Academy for six years. He loves being with family and friends, is an avid soccer player, and dabbles in music. Mr. Keefe is excited to share his passion for classical Catholic education and to be a part of the Regina Coeli family.

Mrs. Cathy Collis, Montessori Co-Teacher
ccollisMrs. Collis holds an International Teaching Diploma Certification from NAMC as a Preschool / Kindergarten Montessori Teacher and is certified by the National Association of The Catechesis of The Good Shepherd. Mrs. Collis joined the Regina Coeli Academy faculty nine years ago. She has volunteered her time in her own parish as well as nearby parishes in the hope of bringing the love of Christ to as many children as possible. Mrs. Collis loves working with children and feels her work is fulfilling the desire of Jesus, to let the little children come unto him.
Mrs. Joan Raiti, Montessori Co-Teacher
jraitiMrs. Raiti holds an American Montessori Society teaching certification from Chestnut Hill College and has twenty-five years experience Teaching/Guiding Pre-primary and Kindergarten children. Mrs. Raiti is a member of North America Montessori Association (NAMTA), President of the Montessori Teachers Association of Pennsylvania (MTA-PA Inc) and certified by the National Association of The Catechesis of The Good Shepherd. She is an active member of Saint Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church, located in Ambler PA. As a member of the Regina Coeli Academy staff, Joan fosters the Marie Montessori educational philosophy and dedication in her students.
Mrs. Denise O'Connell, 1st Grade Primary Teacher
doconnellMrs. O’Connell earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from West Chester University. She has taught Kindergarten through Grade 8 and is currently in her thirty-sixth teaching year. Mrs. O’Connell volunteered in a CCD program in her parish for several years and enjoyed bringing the love of Christ to her students. She lives with her husband in Elkins Park, where they are members of Saint James Parish. They have two grown sons and four grandchildren. Mrs. O’Connell is happy to be a part of the Regina Coeli Academy community and is privileged to bring the message of God’s presence in our lives to her students.
Mrs. Marianne Sunderland, 2nd Grade Primary Teacher
msunderlandMrs. Sunderland has been a Catholic school teacher for many years at St. James School, Elkins Park and St. Joseph School, Ambler. She has taught kindergarten, 1st, 3rd, and 4th grades. In 2010, she received her Master’s Degree in Education from Arcadia University, with PA certification as both Reading specialist and ESL specialist. She lives in Flourtown with her husband where they have been active parishioners at St. Genevieve Parish for over 30 years. They have three grown children, two of which are also teachers.
Mrs. Sharon Bellitto, 3rd Grade Primary Teacher
doconnellMrs. Sharon Bellitto comes to Regina Coeli Academy with seven years of experience as a 3rd grade Catholic school teacher and four years as a preschool teacher. She has a B.A. from St. Joseph's College in Patchogue, NY and earned her certificate in Elementary Education at Gwynedd Mercy College. Mrs. Bellitto is a devout Catholic who is actively involved at St. Stanislaus Parish in Lansdale, PA. She and her husband Anthony have been married for 25 years and they have two children. Ms. Julia McCambridge, 5th Grade Primary Teacher, Writing
doconnellJulia McCambridge is a graduate of Franciscan University with a major in Theology and a minor in Human Life Studies. She has recently returned from Ireland where she volunteered as a missionary for secondary schools around the country. During this experience, she discovered her desire to teach in a formal setting to help further the New Evangelization by the cultivation of the true, good, and beautiful in the hearts and minds of youth. Ms. McCambridge is also a classically trained violinist and fiddler. In her spare time she enjoys playing tunes with good friends. Miss Monica Clarke, 6th Grade Primary Teacher, 2nd, 4th, 6th, and 8th Grade Math Teacher
mclarkMiss Clarke grew up in Louisville, Kentucky and attended Christendom College in Front Royal, Virginia, graduating Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy. She is a classically trained musician, with experience in keyboard, viola, and sacred choral music. She has taught students in Kindergarten through Grade 8, and has also worked with high school students as an adult leader with a parish youth group. In her free time she enjoys traveling, making music, and spending time with family and friends.
Mr. Kyle Thompson, 7th Grade Primary Teacher, 7th, 8th Grade Math, Latin Teacher
mreMr. Thompson is a graduate of Saint Charles Borromeo Seminary in Wynnewood, PA with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy. He is currently pursuing his Master of Arts in Philosophy at his alma mater. He has experience teaching at the 3rd through 8th grade level in Catholic schools, as well as teaching 5th grade for PREP. In his free time he enjoys golfing, cooking, studying languages, and traveling. Miss Caeli Beckert, 7th and 8th Grade Primary Teacher, 6th-8th Grade English and Literature History
mreCaeli Beckert is from Mendham NJ. She earned her BA in English and a minor in Philosophy from the Pennsylvania State University. While she was a student at Penn State, Caeli found a home away from home, as well as a place to serve within the Newman Catholic Student Association. She served the club as the Director of Religious Education for 2 years, and as the leader of Apologetics for three years. During this time, Caeli discovered her love of teaching, religion, and the humanities. Upon her graduation from Penn State, Caeli enrolled in Drew University and earned her Masters in Teaching. Miss Elizabeth Hollenbach, Science Teacher
Miss Anne Nyaga , PreK-8th Grade Music
cfassbenderMs. Nyaga is a graduate of Ave Maria University with a degree in Music and a minor in Latin and Greek. For the past two years, she has taught music and Latin in the middle school and high school grades. She was born and spent a large part of her childhood in Kenya (East Africa). More recently, she has lived in Massachusetts with her family. She has a passion for teaching music, and performing, as well as for learning other languages. She is very interested in the link between music and languages. She believes that the study of Gregorian chant and authentic folk music is integral to a complete musical education. Mrs. Emmy Conley, PreK-8th Grade Art Teacher
econleyFulfilling a lifelong goal of becoming an artist, Emmy Conley graduated from Villanova University in 1984 receiving her Bachelors of Fine Art.  While working in the art field, she volunteered at the Glenmary Mission in Kentucky teaching Bible School where she decided to become a teacher as well.  She received her certification in Elementary Education after taking courses at Immaculata University and later became certified in Art Education.  She's been teaching art for 6 years and is excited to come to Regina Coeli.  She is a member of St. Stanislaus Parish with her husband and three children, and continues to paint. e-mail:
