Welcome from the Head of School

Since its founding in 2003, Regina Coeli Academy has promoted and nurtured the intellectual growth and talents of students in Pre-Kindergarten through Eighth Grade, through a time-tested classical curriculum, including classes in Latin,Virtues, and Writing. Students study and learn in a wholesome and vigorous academic environment with dedicated faculty and small class sizes. We also offer a range of after school clubs. We are committed to offering the finest education possible in a Catholic environment totally, faithful to the Magisterium of the Catholic Church. Mass is celebrated twice a week, and Religion is a core subject.

Furthermore, our faculty intentionally seek to make connections with our Catholic faith throughout the curriculum, demonstrating the harmony of faith and reason. Our graduates have all been accepted into the high school of their choice. A number of them have received scholarships and have been able to take honors courses, test out of Algebra 1 or first year Latin. Compared to other schools across the nation, our students have scored in the 97% percentile on the Iowa National Standardized Tests, the majority scoring a year or two above grade level.

RCA is located in a beautiful, residential neighborhood in Abington, Pennsylvania, adjacent to Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church. Additionally, there are three sister schools: Regina Angelorum Academy in Ardmore, Regina Luminis Academy in Berwyn, and Regina Academy of St. John the Baptist in Ottsville. There are now over 500 students enrolled in the Regina Academies, here in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. We encourage you to explore our website and schedule a tour or attend an open house. Thank you for considering partnering with Regina Coeli Academy in the education of your children.

Thank you, and God bless you,

Mrs. Denise O’Connell
