Ms. Nyaga is a graduate of Ave Maria University with a degree in Music and a minor in Latin and Greek. She has taught music and Latin at Regina Coeli Academy since 2015. She was born and spent a large part of her childhood in Kenya (East Africa). More recently, she has lived in Massachusetts with her family. She has a passion for teaching music, performing, as well as for learning other languages. She is very interested in the link between music and languages. She believes that the study of Gregorian chant and authentic folk music is integral to a complete musical education. She speaks various languages including two African languages (Swahili and Kikuyu), and French.
