Faith First
At Regina Coeli Academy (RCA), putting the Catholic faith first is at the heart of everything we do. This commitment shapes the day-to- day school life. Students attend Mass twice weekly, offering them the opportunity to deepen their relationship with God through the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. On days when Mass is not celebrated, the school community gathers for Forum, where students participate in prayer, discuss the lives of saints, and engage with thought-provoking questions such as, “Who wrote the first Bible?” and “How do I discern my vocation?” This daily practice of prayer and reflection helps to form students’ spiritual lives alongside their academic growth.
At RCA, every class begins with prayer, reinforcing the centrality of the Catholic faith in all areas of education. Faculty and staff also prioritize faith formation, beginning their most recent in-service with Visio Divina, an art reflection that promotes prayerful engagement with religious imagery. Student-run clubs such as the Lower School Saint Club, Girl’s Devotional, St. Joseph Woodworking Club, and the Pro-Life Club foster opportunities for students to live out their faith through service, creativity, and community.
For our youngest students, RCA offers Catechesis of the Good Shepherd, a Montessori-based religious education program that introduces children to the love of the Good Shepherd and His calling for each of them by name. At every stage, from the youngest to the oldest students, students are provided with academic knowledge and a spiritual foundation to live their faith in the world. At Regina Coeli Academy, putting the Catholic faith first is not just an aspect of our school—it is who we are and how we fulfill our mission to equip students to become joyful saints.
