RCA Celebrates First Liturgy of the New Year

On Friday, September 11, Regina Coeli students, teachers, administration, and parents came together in the first Liturgy of the school year, celebrated by Father Anthony Janton.
Art teacher, Jillian Speranza led the congregation in song. Seventh graders Jane C.and Jane K.proclaimed the readings, and eight graders Alex F., Xavior B., and Artiem P. were servers.
During the Mass, students gave prayers of gratitude and thanksgiving for their school and also remembered those who died in the September 11th tragedy twenty-five years ago. Father Janton reminded the students of the value of their faith and the blessings of the strong community. After Holy Communion, teachers and staff knelt at the altar rail and professed their loyalty to the Magisterium of the Catholic Church.
Please continue to pray for our community as the new year unfolds.
